These adorable itty bitty pine cones are suitable chew toys for rabbits and other small pets who like to chew. They provide both mental and physical stimulation which helps prevent boredom and depression. They are also good at helping to keep teeth trim. Pine cones are not a food treat, but rather a chew toy for them to nibble, gnaw and toss about at will.

If the toys become covered in hair, you can remove the hair, clean off the pine cone and return it. If the pine cone becomes overly soiled, it is fine to throw away or compost if you have your own compost pile.

Bunnies love toys they can chew and toss. My all natural untreated and chemical free miniature pine cones give your bunny something to not only chew, but to play with as well. Chewing hard objects helps to keep your lovely bunnies teeth healthy.

Many kitties also love to bat around pine cones. They are small enough to be picked up, toss around and carried by mouth.

Natural mini pine cones are suitable for crafts.

I hand harvest these tiny pine cones from my pesticide free tree (my entire farm is pesticide/chemical free). In the summer, I put them in my green house to let the intense heat inside the green house and the solar rays of the sun naturally dry and sterilize them. If I managed to collect them during the colder months, I dehydrate them at high heat in an electric dehydrator for several days. Please note that some of the tiny pine cones will remain closed although most blossom.

I have provided photos of these extra small pine cones with a United States Standard ruler which is twelve inches long (12"). A standard United States copper penny (1¢) is pictured with the ruler to further assist with scale.

If you are unsure if the size of these pine cones is what your small pet needs, I strongly recommend getting a ruler, tape measure, dress makers tape, etc. and looking at the size/s you think your pet needs in inches (rather than using the eyeball it in the hand method).
