White English Angora Rabbit Wool from Cloud Climber
This amazing wool is from my English angora doe Cloud Climber. Her lovely wool has not been cut. Instead, I hand and comb pull it when it is naturally molting. Her beautiful fibers are ready to card and spin. You get one hundred percent pure white bunny wool, no fillers or other fibers. It is hand packaged in tissue paper and labeled.
•Qty: Approx. 1 Ounce
•Size: Approx. 4" inches / 10.16 centimeters
My beautiful natural English Angora rabbit wool is gently harvested right here on my family farm. You get 100% pure fiber with nothing added. Pulling the wool when the coat is naturally shedding does not harm the rabbit and most enjoy the special attention. While I pull and groom them I give them plenty of ear head and cheek petting which they just love.
Angora rabbits need regular grooming and occasional pulling. It is easy to tell when they need to be pulled (about every 100 days) because they start to shed terribly and their wool comes out very easy. If it is hard to pull, it is not time to pull. Simple as that. In the warmer months my bunnies appreciate me reducing their thick warm coat. Angora wool is 9 times warmer than sheep wool.
I do not cut or shave my bunnies fur. Fiber that has been hand pulled from the rabbit is superior over shaved or clipped wool. Not only are the fibers longer, stronger and healthier; allergens are released when the hair shaft is cut or broken (as would be the case in rabbits that are shaven). So if you find you are allergic to Angora this might be why. Try pulled wool instead.
