This luxurious, undyed raw angora wool showcases Starshine's beautiful natural Blue Tortoiseshell coloring—a soft, subtle blend of varying beige shades and light greys. The fibers create a gentle heathered effect: creamy beiges on top with cooler grey undertones and shading, giving a misty, ethereal look that's perfect for natural-toned spinning, felting, or blending with other colors. No dyes here—just pure, home-raised English Angora fluff from my sweet doe Starshine!

Harvest & Prep
Gently hand-pulled during natural molting—no cutting with scissors or clippers! This ethical method yields long, smooth fibers with tapered ends (a favorite for spinners seeking silky halo, even texture, and gentler feel). Minimally cleaned post-harvest to remove loose bits—ready for your creativity.

Allergy & Sensitivity Note
Raw pulled angora from colored bases like this is often very gentle for sensitive folks—no sharp cut edges, and the natural shades can feel softer on skin than processed whites. True angora sensitivities are uncommon (more often from coarseness or processing), but test a small amount if new to it. Other natural or dyed options in the shop!

Care Notes
To help deter moths (a common concern with natural fibers), place cedar blocks, lavender sachets, or similar repellents nearby—I grow and sell dried lavender here on the farm, so feel free to grab some from my shop for your stash! They add a gentle, calming scent while naturally repelling pests (refresh every few months by squeezing the a lavender sachet to release more aroma). Keep fiber in breathable bags or containers (avoid airtight plastic long-term unless vacuum-sealed briefly). For finished yarns or items, gentle hand-wash cool—full tips in my guide: How to Clean Angora Wool Sweaters & Clothing

Photos on rustic old pine wood highlight the soft beige-grey variations and fluffy texture—colors and shading may appear slightly different by screen/lighting, but the pine gives a true, natural farm vibe. Additional shots show the wool in zero-waste tissue packaging (for Eco-friendly shipping in 1 oz and 1/2 oz sizes). The final photo is Starshine herself, enjoying life here at Running Bug Farm!

Ideal for earthy handspun yarns, natural felting sculptures, blending with your dyed lots (pair with indigo for moody blues!), or keeping pure for minimalist luxury projects. 🐰🤍💙
