My husband wood burned this earthy autumn image of a part tree, part vine cat with little bats flying around her. The wood is a thick piece of rough cut local poplar wood. One edge features a natural knot, adding to its organic appeal. My husband used a router to shape and frame the sides. The sides were further enhanced by adding burns with a pen torch. This entire process is done by hand, not by machine.

The image has been sealed with semi-gloss water based polycrylic to help protect the image and the wood. The back of the wall art has not been sealed.
