White Wyandotte Hen Hackle Feathers Qty: 25 Size: 3-3.5" (Gallus domesticus)
Hen hackles are fatter and shorter than a roosters hackle feathers. They have a softer, more blunt tip and wider body. Like a roosters hackles, these have eyelash fringe along the edges and a bit of fluff at their base. These feathers are all completely white. They have been cleaned and sterilized. They are ready for use. They can be used in their natural white state or they can be dyed to suit your needs.

I clean my birds feathers using filtered well water, eco soap, vinegar and heat sterilization.
Feathers are hand packaged and labeled with my farms information, the type of bird, the quantity and the size.
I am not a feather reseller. I exclusively sell feathers only from my own humanely raised birds on my small ecofarm.
Feathers are from my smoking free home, although I do heat my home exclusively with a wood stove as I am almost entirely off of the grid and this is my only source of heat.
