This fun feather mix is an assortment of slender sickle shaped wing feathers. They are stiff and sleek with a gray body and loads of striking white dots. The quills are strong and clear/neutral colored. I have taken care to include both the right and left sides of the wing. Please note, that there may or may not be an equal amount of each side or matching pairs.

Do you know where your guinea feathers come from? When you buy from Running Bug Farm you do! My birds are humanely raised on my organic pastures. They free range, are fed Certified Organic feed and enjoy organic home made cultures as well as other organic treats that I myself eat. I use natural, holistic and organic methods to treat my animals and myself. Running Bug Farm is better than organic. Your purchase supports my small Eco farm and I say thank you!

I clean my birds feathers using well water, organic soap, vinegar, and heat sterilization.

Feathers are hand packaged and labeled. Labels provide my farms info., type of bird, quantity, and size.

Feathers are from my Eco farm; raised, cared for, and loved by my family. I am not a feather reseller.

Feathers are from my smoking free home, although I do heat my home exclusively with a wood stove as I am almost entirely off of the grid and this is my only source of heat.

I do not sell feathers from endangered, protected, or wild species of birds. Such as Eagle, Hawk, Owl, Falcon, Song Bird, Parrot, etc. I exclusively sell feathers only from my own humanely raised farm birds on my small Eco-Farm.

I have provided photos of these feathers with a United States Standard ruler which is twelve inches long (12"). A standard United States copper penny (1¢) is pictured with the ruler to further assist with scale.

If you are unsure of the size of feathers that you need, I strongly recommend getting a ruler, tape measure, dress makers tape, etc. and looking at the size/s you need in inches (rather than using the eyeball it in the hand method). First measure where you want to use the feathers and what your expectations are. When you see the approximate length, write it down and compare that length in inches to the feathers I have listed to help you find the size that's perfect for your needs.
