These adorable real hen feathers are mainly an assortment of beige/white with some brownish red bits and a touch of fluff at the base. This unique color patterning is from my Rhode Island Red rooster breeding with my White Wyandotte hens. These beautiful girls are the result. They are mostly white chickens with splashes of color. Real feathers are commonly added to hair extensions, hats, sculptures, Native American, ceremonial & holiday projects, as well as many other fine crafts.
- Qty: Approx. 30 assorted Barnyard hen feathers
- Size: Approx. any size less than 1" inch / 2.54 centimeters

I clean my birds feathers using well water, organic soap, vinegar, and heat sterilization.
Feathers are hand packaged and labeled. Labels provide my farms information, type of bird, quantity, and size.
Feathers are from my Eco farm; raised, cared for, and loved by my family. I am not a feather reseller.
Feathers are from my smoking free home, although I do heat my home exclusively with a wood stove as I am almost entirely off of the grid and this is my only source of heat.
I do not sell feathers from endangered, protected, or wild species of birds. Such as Eagle, Hawk, Owl, Falcon, Song Bird, Parrot, etc. I exclusively sell feathers only from my own humanely raised farm birds on my small Eco farm.
Size: XXS
Size Examples:
I have provided photos of these feathers with a United States Standard ruler which is twelve inches long (12"). A standard United States copper penny (1¢) is pictured with the ruler to further assist with scale.
If you are unsure of the size of feathers that you need, I strongly recommend getting a ruler, tape measure, dress makers tape, etc. and looking at the size/s you need in inches (rather than using the eyeball it in the hand method). First measure where you want to use the feathers and what your expectations are. When you see the approximate length, write it down and compare that length in inches to the feathers I have listed to help you find the size that's perfect for your needs.
