Barnyard Hen Feather Teeny Bits Qty: 30 Size: < 1" (Gallus domesticus)
These adorable real hen feathers are mainly an assortment of beige/white with some brownish red bits and a touch of fluff at the base. This unique color patterning is from my Rhode Island Red rooster breeding with my White Wyandotte hens. These beautiful girls are the result. They are mostly white chickens with splashes of color. Real feathers are commonly added to hair extensions, hats, sculptures, Native American, ceremonial & holiday projects, as well as many other fine crafts.

Do you know where your chicken feathers come from? When you buy from Running Bug Farm you do! My hens are cruelty free and humanely raised. They live outside 365 days a year free ranging on pasture the way Mother Nature intended. I use natural holistic methods to treat my animals and myself. Running Bug Farm is better than organic. Your purchase supports my eco farm and I thank you!
I clean my birds feathers using well water, organic soap, vinegar, and heat sterilization.
Feathers are hand packaged and labeled. Labels provide my farms information, type of bird, quantity, and size.
Feathers are from my eco farm; raised, cared for, and loved by my family. I am not a feather reseller.
Feathers are from my smoking free home, although I do heat my home exclusively with a wood stove as I am almost entirely off of the grid and this is my only source of heat.
I do not sell feathers from endangered, protected, or wild species of birds. Such as Eagle, Hawk, Owl, Falcon, Song Bird, Parrot, etc. I exclusively sell feathers only from my own humanely raised farm birds on my small eco farm.
FYI: The currency in the pictures is a USA copper penny. The ruler is 12" inches long. The penny and the ruler are pictured to help you gauge the size of the feathers. If you are unsure what size feathers you need for your project, I recommend you get out your project specs and use a ruler or tape measure to see the size you need in inches.
