Assorted Pine Cone Bunny Rabbit Treats Qty: 10
These real pine cones have been hand collected from the ground in the woods. I'm not sure what type of pine tree these have fallen from. They are not as sturdy as traditional round pine cones. They have a more pliable and delicate body that is long and narrow verses fat and plump.
I lay the pine cones out to dry and sun sterilize in the heat of my greenhouse which easily reaches over 130°F degrees Fahrenheit. I then brush off as much plant matter as I reasonably can. By not water boiling or washing any of my pine cones, more of their natural sap, scent, & oil is retained. This makes them much more attractive to our furry friends who love to chew.

Most of my English Angora rabbits eat the entire pine cone, others leave the core, while others simply play with them. Aside from being suitable food treats for rabbits and rodents who like to chew, they also make great wool collectors for angora bunnies. Pine cones are great at catching loose fibers as the fluffy bunnies hop around which can help to keep your angora bunny from ingesting too much hair which can lead to wool block.
Bunnies generally love toys they can chew and toss. My all natural untreated pine cones give your bunny something to not only chew, but to play with as well. Chewing roughage helps to keep your bunnies teeth healthy. Consumption helps to keep your pet angora's digestive system running smoothly.
Please note that if you have angora rabbits, keeping pine cones in their home to help collect loose hairs is not a substitute for regular grooming. Please see my article on Angora Rabbit Care for details.
