My real Blue Slate turkey small (for a turkey, big for a chicken) tail feathers are hand packaged in lots of nine ranging in size from six to six and a half inches. Feathers are in shades of light gray with darker marks throughout. The color is called Blue Slate. The quills are strong with a color very similar to ones fingernails. Natural turkey tail feathers are commonly added to Native American, ceremonial and holiday projects, centerpieces, dream catchers, smudge wands,and many other fine art, decor, and crafts.

Feathers are from my smoking free home, although I do heat my home exclusively with a wood stove as I am almost entirely off of the grid and this is my only source of heat.
I do not sell feathers from endangered, protected, or wild species of birds. Such as Eagle, Hawk, Owl, Falcon, Parrot, etc. I exclusively sell feathers only from my own humanely raised farm birds on my small Eco-farm.

I have provided photos of feathers with a United States Standard ruler which is twelve inches long (12"). A standard United States silver quarter (25¢) is pictured with the ruler to further assist with scale.
If you are unsure of the size of feathers that you need, I strongly recommend getting a ruler, tape measure, dress makers tape, etc. and looking at the size/s you need in inches (rather than using the eyeball it in the hand method). First measure where you want to use the feathers and what your expectations are. When you see the approximate length, write it down and compare that length in inches to the feathers I have listed to help you find the size that's perfect for your needs.
