This scissor cut lilac tortoiseshell English angora rabbit wool was hand dyed in green. The lighter wool is a brighter, cleaner green while the darker colored wool naturally saddens the color. After dying and rinsing, the fibers were washed by hand. Last, I dried the wool in my dehydrator. These fibers have not been carded. You can card them yourself with hand carders (what I use), a drum carder or send them to a fiber mill. The wool fibers can also be used for felting, yarn art and many other natural wool projects and crafts.

Cruelty free scissor cut angora rabbit fur from my sweet doe, Twinkles. She is a pure breed of rabbit known as a Lilac Tortoiseshell English Angora.
I have provided photos on different backgrounds in hopes of helping you see the true color of this angora roving. It is a mix of light green and a darker muted grey-green shade.
If you feel like sharing what you create using my natural fibers, please contact me. I'd love to show your work.
My beautiful natural English Angora rabbit wool is gently harvested right here on my family farm. You get 100% pure fiber with nothing added. Hand cutting the wool does not harm the rabbit and most enjoy the special attention. While I groom them I give them plenty of ear head and cheek petting which they just love.
Allergy Note:
Fiber that has been hand pulled from the rabbit is superior over shaved or clipped wool. Not only are the fibers longer, stronger and healthier; allergens are released when the hair shaft is cut or broken (as would be the case in rabbits that are shaven). So if you find you are allergic to Angora this might be why. Try my bunnies hand and comb pulled wool instead.
