Silver Laced Wyandotte Rooster Wing Tail Feathers Qty: 15 Size: 3-3.5" (Gallus domesticus)
This assortment of small-medium sized wing &/or tail feathers has been loosely packaged by hand in lots of fifteen. These real bird feathers are black and white with soft lighter colored fluff at their base. Feathers are semi-stiff. They have some flexibility and are less likely to become damaged if bent but if they are bent too severely, they can become permanetly damaged the same as the much stiffer wing and tail feathers. The small quills are neutral (fingernail) colored.
- Qty: Approx. 15 assorted Silver Laced Wyandotte rooster feathers
- Size: Approx. 3-3.5" inches / 7.62-8.89 centimeters
I clean my birds feathers using well water, organic soap, vinegar, and heat sterilization.
Feathers are hand packaged and labeled. Labels provide my farms information, type of bird, quantity, and size.
Feathers are from my Eco-farm; raised, cared for, and loved by my family. I am not a feather reseller.
Feathers are from my smoking free home, although I do heat my home exclusively with a wood stove as I am almost entirely off of the grid and this is my only source of heat.
I do not sell feathers from endangered, protected, or wild species of birds. Such as Eagle, Hawk, Owl, Falcon, Song Bird, Parrot, etc. I exclusively sell feathers only from my own humanely raised farm birds on my small Eco-farm.
I have provided photos of these feathers with a United States Standard ruler which is twelve inches long (12"). A standard United States silver quarter (25¢) is pictured with the ruler to further assist with scale. I have also provided photos of approximately fifteen of these feathers in my hand for those who prefer not to use standard measurements.
If you are unsure of the size of feathers that you need, I strongly recommend getting a ruler, tape measure, dress makers tape, etc. and looking at the size/s you need in inches (rather than using the eyeball it in the hand method). First measure where you want to use the feathers and what your expectations are. When you see the approximate length, write it down and compare that length in inches to the feathers I have listed to help you find the size that's perfect for your needs.
