These are genuine Royal Palm Turkey feathers — beautiful extra long-length plumes that are mostly creamy white with elegant black and soft grey accents. They have blunt tips and a nice amount of soft, fluffy down at the base, making them ideal for crafts, smudging bundles, jewelry, costume work, fly tying, and mixed media art.
Each feather is unique — natural variation in patterning and fluff is normal from bird to bird and molt to molt.

All feathers are carefully collected from my own flock (I am not a reseller). They are cleaned using well water, organic soap, vinegar, and heat sterilization, then hand-packaged and labeled in our smoke-free (wood-stove heated) home.

I have provided photos of feathers with a United States Standard ruler which is twelve inches long (12"). A standard United States copper penny (1¢) is pictured with the ruler to further assist with scale. I have also provided photos of feathers in my hand for those who prefer not to use standard measurements.
If you are unsure of the size of feathers that you need, I strongly recommend getting a ruler, tape measure, dress makers tape, etc. and looking at the size/s you need in inches (rather than using the eyeball it in the hand method). First measure where you want to use the feathers and what your expectations are. When you see the approximate length, write it down and compare that length in inches to the feathers I have listed to help you find the size that's perfect for your needs.
