Small and narrow, rare wing feather assortment for crafts. It has taken me about four years to accumulate this collection of feathers. My birds provide a few here and there. I've been saving them in a small bag until I finally had enough for a limited amount of feather lots. No hand sorted feather variety pack is exactly the same. Plumes are naturally molted/ground collected from my chickens, guineas, turkeys and ducks. They are small sized with the guinea feathers tending to be the most narrow and longest.
- Qty: 25 assorted real bird wing feathers
- Size: Approx. 1.5-2.5" inches / 3.81-6.35 centimeters

Do you know where your turkey feathers come from? When you buy from Running Bug Farm you do! My birds are cruelty free and humanely raised. They live outside 365 days a year free ranging on pasture the way Mother Nature intended. I use natural holistic methods to treat my animals and myself. Running Bug Farm is better than organic. Your purchase supports my Eco farm and I thank you!
I clean my birds feathers using well water, organic soap, vinegar, and heat sterilization.
Feathers are hand packaged and labeled. Labels provide my farms info., type of bird, quantity, and size.
Feathers are from my Eco farm; raised, cared for, and loved by my family. I am not a feather reseller.
Feathers are from my smoking free home, although I do heat my home exclusively with a wood stove as I am almost entirely off of the grid and this is my only source of heat.
I have listed these feather variety packs as being one and a half to two and a half inches long. This is an approximation. Some (especially some of the guinea fowl plumage) may be longer. None should be smaller though. If for any reason they are, it will only be by a very tiny amount.

Size Examples:
I have provided stock photos of feathers with a United States Standard ruler which is twelve inches long (12"). A standard United States silver quarter (25¢) is pictured with the ruler to further assist with scale. I have also provided stock photos of feathers in my hand for those who prefer not to use standard measurements.
If you are unsure of the size of feathers that you need, I strongly recommend getting a ruler, tape measure, dress makers tape, etc. and looking at the size/s you need in inches (rather than using the eyeball it in the hand method). First measure where you want to use the feathers and what your expectations are. When you see the approximate length, write it down and compare that length in inches to the feathers I have listed to help you find the size that's perfect for your needs.
