Large and stiff primary turkey wing feathers with light barring. The feathers are a soft black/dark grey color. The stripes or bars are soft white. They are slender with a slight curve and lift. The strong quills are a neutral opaque coloring. Both the right and left sides of the wing are included. Real turkey feathers are commonly added to centerpieces, dream catchers, smudge wands, Native American, ceremonial and holiday projects as well as in historical recreations such as feather calligraphy pens.

Feathers are from my smoking free home, although I do heat my home exclusively with a wood stove as I am almost entirely off of the grid and this is my only source of heat.

I have provided stock photos of feathers with a United States Standard ruler which is twelve inches long (12"). A standard United States silver quarter (25¢) is pictured with the ruler to further assist with scale. I have also provided a photo of four feathers in my hand for those who prefer not to use standard measurements.
If you are unsure of the size of feathers that you need, I strongly recommend getting a ruler, tape measure, dress makers tape, etc. and looking at the size/s you need in inches (rather than using the eyeball it in the hand method). First measure where you want to use the feathers and what your expectations are. When you see the approximate length, write it down and compare that length in inches to the feathers I have listed to help you find the size that's perfect for your needs.
