Long metallic Speckled Sussex rooster hackle feathers for crafts. These plumes are very slender with tapered tips. They have fine eyelash fringe along their edge. The base features soft lighter colored fluff that can vary from off white to light grey. The way the light strikes them has the potential to change their appearance. They can look very dark with a greenish blue sheen, furnace red with with somewhat of an ombre effect, or a more subtle and softer range of warm brown tones. Some plumage may have a touch of white at the tips.
