Growing Guide

There are well over 100 seeds per half ounce. Included are whole dried seed heads, individual seeds (they are long and narrow, like quills), and chaff. This is about as natural as it gets for seed saving. For seed heads, massage between your fingers to loosen, or pull the tops to remove most, if not all of the seeds. For the average backyard grower, one seed head will likely give you all the seed you need if you only wish to grow a small amount of flowers. A half ounce should provide an adequate amount for borders or small scale market growers.

In my area, these marigolds perform continuously throughout the growing season, up until the first frost.

Marigolds, loved by all. No matter what time of the day (or night) I am around these gorgeous blooms, there is always an abundance of pollinators, even in the evening. Bees especially like to bed down on the blooms to rest overnight. Because the blooms have so many visitors, I often find praying mantises using the blooms as their hunting grounds.

Feel good knowing you are getting non GMO seeds grown in a natural chemical free environment. I intermingle all my crops creating a messy but beautiful landscape. I believe this attracts a larger variety of bugs, helping to keep any one species from overtaking.

NO! Sprays or treatments, even the organic approved types. I work with Mother Nature, not against her.

There is no better way to make your stand against GMO's (Genetically Modified Organisms) than to grow your own flowers and veggies by saving the seeds and passing them on. Don't let Bayer/Monsanto take over our food!

Images may appear different on different devices and screens. I have also provided some watercolor art of my products simply because I enjoy it so much. I hope you enjoy it as well!
