These are an assortment of firm and semi flexible tail feathers. The stiff feathers are mainly a dull black with a touch of reddish brown. The black color may display a metallic sheen if the light hits them just right. The stiff plumes have a slight curve. The semi flexible plumes have more fluff and flop with reddish brown coloring sprinkled throughout. Both types of plumage have strong neutral quills. As is typical with the majority of my pastoral birds tail plumage, these have a messy boho look. These are not sleek, glossy, or unblemished.

I clean my birds feathers using rain water, my own handcrafted feather soap, vinegar, & dryer sterilization.
Feathers are hand packaged & labeled. Labels provide my farms info., type of bird, quantity, & size.
Feathers are from my Eco-farm; raised, cared for, & loved by my family. I am not a feather reseller.
Feathers are from my smoking free home, although I do heat my home exclusively with a wood stove as I am almost entirely off of the grid & this is my only source of heat.
I do not sell feathers from endangered, protected, or wild species of birds. Such as Eagle, Hawk, Owl, Falcon, Song Bird, Parrot, etc. I exclusively sell feathers only from my own humanely raised farm birds on my small Eco-Farm.

I have provided photos of feathers with a United States Standard ruler which is twelve inches long (12"). A standard United States silver quarter (25¢) is pictured with the ruler to further assist with scale. I have also provided photos of feathers in my hand for those who prefer not to use standard measurements.
If you are unsure of the size of feathers that you need, I strongly recommend getting a ruler, tape measure, dress makers tape, etc. and looking at the size/s you need in inches (rather than using the eyeball it in the hand method). First measure where you want to use the feathers and what your expectations are. When you see the approximate length, write it down and compare that length in inches to the feathers I have listed to help you find the size that's perfect for your needs.
