Add some humor to your holidays! This creepy-cute ornament pendant is great for Christmas or Halloween decorations and to wear. This scary folklore creature is half demon and half goat. It was said that Krampus would punish the children who misbehaved while Santa Claus gave gifts to those who were nice.

In the early Christmas traditions of Europe, the Krampus was St. Nikolaus' dark servant, a hairy, horned, supernatural beast whose pointed ears and long, slithering tongue gave misbehavers the creeps! At Christmastime, St. Nicholas rewards children who've been good all year, but those who have behaved badly are visited by the Krampus!

My husband wood burned this image of Krampus on Autumn Olive wood from our property. He then added some fiery dark marks with a torch pen.

This Yuletide image has been sealed with semi-gloss water based polycrylic to help protect the image and the wood. The back of the ornament pendant has not been sealed.

Arrives in a cotton drawstring gift bag.

Note: Ready to hang or wear. Hardware is included and has been attached for your convince.

I have provided photos showing Krampus at several different angles. I was sure to include close ups of the pyrography art, as well as photos with a standard United States ruler, a standard United States silver quarter, and in my hand. The ruler and currency are to help assist you with scale. Be sure to look at the photos closely; they are of the exact item you will receive.
