My cruelty free wool assortments give you a fun and affordable opportunity to experiment with different fiber colors without having to buy a bunch of separate wool groupings. When I am weighing out wool and packaging it, I don't always have a full ounce or half ounce. When this happens, I put aside eighth of an ounce samplers that I package and label the same as I do for the larger quantities. When I have at least a half ounce total of four different types of wool (by type I am referring to color, all my bunnies are English Angoras) I put them in a lot and offer them here. My variety sampler packs are suitable for many of your projects including felting, stuffing, and spinning - just like my full sized offerings.
- Qty: Approx. 1/2 ounce total weight
- Size: Approx. 4" inches / 10.16 centimeters

My beautiful natural English Angora rabbit wool is gently harvested right here on my family farm. You get 100% pure fiber with nothing added. Pulling the wool when the coat is naturally shedding does not harm the rabbit and most enjoy the special attention. While I pull and groom them, I give them plenty of ear head and cheek petting which they just love.
Angora rabbits need regular grooming and occasional pulling. It is easy to tell when they need to be pulled (about every 100 days) because they start to shed terribly and their wool comes out very easy. If it is hard to pull, it is not time to pull. Simple as that. In the warmer months my bunnies appreciate having me reduce their thick warm coats. Angora wool is 9 times warmer than sheep wool.
Fiber that has been hand pulled from the rabbit is superior over shaved or clipped wool. Not only are the fibers longer, stronger and healthier; allergens are released when the hair shaft is cut or broken (as would be the case in rabbits that are shaven). If you find you are allergic to angora this might be why. Try pulled wool instead.
Angora wool is suitable for many of your projects including felting, stuffing and spinning.
Wool is raw, untreated and ready to dye.
Staple length varies due to the nature of the fiber collected; it should average approx. 4" +/-
