Lovely all natural Rhode Island Red Hen feathers from my own humanely raised chickens. They are a rustic coachman brown color, some bird feathers have a bit of darker reddish brown and black in them. These loose bird feathers are perfect for crafts, hair accessories, jewelry supplies, stationary, wedding invitations and more. Feathers are real, ranging in size from three to three and a half inches and are hand packaged in lots of twenty five.

I clean my birds feathers using well water, organic soap, vinegar, and heat sterilization.
Feathers are hand packaged and labeled. Labels provide my farms info., type of bird, quantity, and size.
Feathers are from my Eco farm; raised, cared for, and loved by my family. I am not a feather reseller.
Feathers are from my smoking free home, although I do heat my home exclusively with a wood stove as I am almost entirely off of the grid and this is my only source of heat.

If you are unsure of the size of feathers that you need, I strongly recommend getting a ruler, tape measure, dress makers tape, etc. and looking at the size/s you need in inches (rather than using the eyeball it in the hand method). First measure where you want to use the feathers and what your expectations are. When you see the approximate length, write it down and compare that length in inches to the feathers I have listed to help you find the size that's perfect for your needs.
