My husband wood burned this image of my original pencil artwork featuring a winter tree with mountains outlined in the background. The wood used for this image is from the branch of a fallen poplar tree. Poplar is a soft wood; light in color and in weight.

This piece has been sanded on both sides. The front is mostly smooth. The back is a little less smooth. The edges (the bark) is the least smooth. The bark has been lightly sealed, making it smoother than it would be if it was unfinished.
This entire piece has been lightly coated with a clear glaze to help protect the image.
Note: Hanging hardware is not included. Holes have not been drilled.
I have provided a photo of a United States Standard ruler which is twelve inches long (12"). A standard United States silver quarter (25¢) is pictured with the ruler to further assist with scale. I have also provided a photo of this art piece in my hand for those who prefer not to use standard measurements.
