These mixed bird feathers are great for when you don't need perfect feathers. As I sort through my feather collections, I put aside the flawed/damaged feathers until I have enough to put into a assortment suitable for pets. They can be used for your own handmade cat toys, feather wands, or even give the feathers themselves to your felines to play with. I know my cats are bonkers over feathers. I have to take extreme measure to keep the kitties from raiding my stock. Feathers are also suitable for training dogs and wherever else your creativity takes you. If you creative mind wants perfection, please give these pet toy feathers a pass.

- Size: Approx. 2-4" inches / 5.08-10.16 centimeters
The size of these feathers is a rough approximate. I have not measured them. They should mainly fall in the size range of two to four inches long. Some feathers may be longer or shorter.
These assortments may include feathers from my guinea fowl, chickens (both roosters and hens), and turkeys (both toms and hens). There is no guarantee as to what will be in any assortment. They are created as the various feathers accumulate. You may or may not have multiples of the same feathers or pairs.
Because I am not a reseller, I don't take requests for specific feathers either in breed, color, or size. The birds provide me with their feathers and I never really know what I'll get or when. I clean my birds feathers using filtered well water, natural soap, vinegar and heat sterilization.
Pet Quality Feathers are hand packaged and labeled. Labels provide my farms info., quantity and size. Individual feathers are not labeled and identified. If you need breed specific feathers, please browse my shop for the breeds/types you require.
I am not a feather reseller. I exclusively sell feathers only from my own humanely raised birds on my small Eco friendly family farm.
Feathers are from my smoking free home, although I do heat my home exclusively with a wood stove as I am almost entirely off of the grid and this is my only source of heat.
In attempt to live an (almost) Zero Waste life, I package these feathers in reused bags. If I don't have bags that I can reuse, I will use new bags.
