I had a little problem on my Eco-Farm - painful inflamed nail beds. My precious cuticles would disappear. Ouch, doesn't cover it. The problem is I use my hands so much. Plus I wash them constantly. I am always in contact with various forms of animal poop, dirty duck water, a variety of animals, plus all the other yard stuff, felled logs, compost, gardening, you name it. I came up with this effective all natural healing salve. Applied to cleaned skin on the affected area and covering with a Band-Aid to make sure the sticky stuff stays where I want it. Then off to bed. In the morning, nearly perfect fingers. Do this a few times and happy fingers are all mine! Now, after a long day working in grime (also when doing a ton of cooking), I nip the misery by applying the salve before it can mutate my mitts.

To use: Clean the affected area, apply the salve (you only need a wee bit), cover the area with a Band-Aid or gauze. Overnight works best because your hands are at rest. Repeat as often as needed until the affected area has healed.
