Stunning real feathers from my own majestic Blue Laced Red Wyandotte hens. These natural feathers have been cleaned and are ready for use. They are loose feathers that come in lovely shades of color. Most feathers are a rich brown (aka red) at their centers with a smoky outside ring (blue laced). Some feathers my be a more solid color than others providing you with a nice bit of variety for your crafts. All the feathers have a fluffy base ranging from very light grey shades to a soft smoke grays.

Pictured is one of my hens free ranging on my farms very early spring pastures. It is amazing to watch the girls snatch up so many tasty tidbits when there isn't a lot visible to this farm gals eye to dine on.
I clean my birds feathers using filtered well water, Eco soap, vinegar and heat sterilization.
Feathers are hand packaged and labeled with my farms information, the type of bird, the quantity and the size.
I am not a feather reseller. I exclusively sell feathers only from my own humanely raised birds on my small Eco farm.
Feathers are from my smoking free home, although I do heat my home exclusively with a wood stove as I am almost entirely off of the grid and this is my only source of heat.
The coin in the photos is a United States quarter. It along with the ruler are pictured to help you better gauge the size range of the feathers.
I have provided photos of these feathers with a United States Standard ruler which is twelve inches long (12"). A standard United States silver quarter (25¢) is pictured with the ruler to further assist with scale.
If you are unsure of the size of feathers that you need, I strongly recommend getting a ruler, tape measure, dress makers tape, etc. and looking at the size/s you need in inches (rather than using the eyeball it in the hand method). First measure where you want to use the feathers and what your expectations are. When you see the approximate length, write it down and compare that length in inches to the feathers I have listed to help you find the size that's perfect for your needs.
