Miniature orange-buff rooster feathers for crafts. Some feathers may have additional markings. The lemon Cuckoo Niederrheiner has some barred feathers. You may see a hint of this in these feathers. The Niederrheiner is a large fowl from Germany with a lemon-buff coloring and white barring (not as noticeable in these mini feathers). I provided a picture of one of my roosters in the photos. My favorite aspect of this breed is their easy going, friendly nature. I have never had roosters so non threatening. They are easily my new favorite breed of rooster.
- Qty: Approx. 30 assorted Lemon Cuckoo Niederrheiner rooster feathers
- Size: Approx. any size less than 1" inch / 2.54 centimeters

Do you know where your chicken feathers come from? When you buy from Running Bug Farm you do! My hens are cruelty free and humanely raised. They live outside 365 days a year free ranging on pasture the way Mother Nature intended. I use natural holistic methods to treat my animals and myself. Running Bug Farm is better than organic. Your purchase supports my eco farm and I thank you!
I clean my birds feathers using well water, organic soap, vinegar, and heat sterilization.
Feathers are hand packaged and labeled. Labels provide my farms information, type of bird, quantity, and size.
Feathers are from my Eco-farm; raised, cared for, and loved by my family. I am not a feather reseller.
Feathers are from my smoking free home, although I do heat my home exclusively with a wood stove as I am almost entirely off of the grid and this is my only source of heat.
I do not sell feathers from endangered, protected, or wild species of birds. Such as Eagle, Hawk, Owl, Falcon, Song Bird, Parrot, etc. I exclusively sell feathers only from my own humanely raised farm birds on my small Eco-farm.
I have provided photos of these feathers with a United States Standard ruler which is twelve inches long (12"). A standard United States silver quarter (25¢) is pictured with the ruler to further assist with scale. I have also provided photos of these feathers next to my hand for those who prefer not to use standard measurements.
If you are unsure of the size of feathers that you need, I strongly recommend getting a ruler, tape measure, dress makers tape, etc. and looking at the size/s you need in inches (rather than using the eyeball it in the hand method). First measure where you want to use the feathers and what your expectations are. When you see the approximate length, write it down and compare that length in inches to the feathers I have listed to help you find the size that's perfect for your needs.
