Duck Pond Robe Hook with Pewter Dragon Flies - Burned on Black Locust Wood
My husband wood burned this rustic image of two wild ducks in flight over a quiet pond filled with cattails. He believes the rough cut wood he chose for this project is black locust. The wood was taken from some of our neighbors smaller cuts of wood from his sawmill that he said he didn't need. There is a beautiful amount of detail in the natural wood grain & bark.
The two dragon fly clothing hooks are made of strong pewter. They are attached to the solid wood with two firmly mounted screws. There are two metal hooks on the back of this wood art. They have been nailed in place with two nails each.
This is a One Of A Kind (OOAK) piece.
•Size: Approx. 14.5" L X 8.25" T X 1" D
•Weight: Approx. 2.15 lbs
This piece has been sanded and is smooth on all sides except the very top where the bark is. The bark has been lightly sealed with clear Krylon Gloss crystal clear glaze coat, making it slightly smoother than it would be if it was unfinished. The clear coat helps to protect the image and the wood.
Note: Hanging hardware is included. This rustic clothing hook is ready to mount and use. It ships to you from us, fully assembled.
I have provided photos showing this one of a kind functional wall art at all angles. I have also included photos of each hook and mount. Close ups of the wood grain and pyrography art, as well as photos with a standard United States ruler have also been provided. Be sure to look at the photos closely; they are of the exact item you will receive.
