These pretty feathers are an orange-buff color with lemon-yellow barring. This color pattern is known as barred. Some feathers may be not have barring and some may even have a darker grey markings. Please keep in mind that the darker points are not common (so far) and it is possible that there will be none with darker marks in a package. These are not factory created feathers. They are from my own incredibly friendly and docile Lemon Cuckoo Niederrheiner roosters. The base of the feathers feature a generous amount of light colored fluff. Feathers are loose and highly pliable. They have been cleaned and are ready for use.
- Qty: Approx. 25 Buff Lemon Cuckoo Niederrheiner rooster feathers
- Size: Approx. 3-3.5" inches / 7.62-8.89 centimeters

I clean my birds feathers using filtered well water, Eco soap, vinegar and heat sterilization.
Feathers are hand packaged and labeled with my farms information, the type of bird, the quantity and the size.
I am not a feather reseller. I exclusively sell feathers only from my own humanely raised birds on my small Eco-farm.
Feathers are from my smoking free home, although I do heat my home exclusively with a wood stove as I am almost entirely off of the grid and this is my only source of heat.
I have provided photos of these feathers with a United States Standard ruler which is twelve inches long (12"). A standard United States silver quarter (25¢) is pictured with the ruler to further assist with scale. I have also provided photos of these feathers in my hand for those who prefer not to use standard measurements. Two photos show a loose bunch of approximately twenty five of these feathers in my hand. One photo shows one at about the largest size of 3.5" next to the smaller of this size which is around 3".
If you are unsure of the size of feathers that you need, I strongly recommend getting a ruler, tape measure, dress makers tape, etc. and looking at the size/s you need in inches (rather than using the eyeball it in the hand method). First measure where you want to use the feathers and what your expectations are. When you see the approximate length, write it down and compare that length in inches to the feathers I have listed to help you find the size that's perfect for your needs.
