Naturally very small black and white craft feathers. My birds real feathers range from one to just under one and a half inches long. They are often used in jewelry, hair accessories, costumes and much more. Some feathers are black with white centers. Some have larger white centers then others. Some feathers may be solid black. All feathers have fluff at their base. Some feathers have more fluff then others. Some feathers have a slight curve while others are thinner and straighter. All of this makes for a nice little black and white feather collection with a little bit of variety.
- Qty: Approx. 30 assorted Silver Laced Wyandotte rooster feathers
- Size: Approx. 1-1.49" inches / 2.54-3.78 centimeters
I clean my birds feathers using filtered well water, Eco soap, vinegar and heat sterilization.
Feathers are hand packaged and labeled with my farms information, the type of bird, the quantity and the size.
I am not a feather reseller. I exclusively sell feathers only from my own humanely raised birds on my small Eco-farm.
Feathers are from my smoking free home, although I do heat my home exclusively with a wood stove as I am almost entirely off of the grid and this is my only source of heat.
Size: XS
Size Examples:
I have provided photos of these feathers with a United States Standard ruler which is twelve inches long (12"). A standard United States silver quarter (25¢) is pictured with the ruler to further assist with scale. I have also provided photos of these feathers in/with my hand for those who prefer not to use standard measurements.
If you are unsure of the size of feathers that you need, I strongly recommend getting a ruler, tape measure, dress makers tape, etc. and looking at the size/s you need in inches (rather than using the eyeball it in the hand method). First measure where you want to use the feathers and what your expectations are. When you see the approximate length, write it down and compare that length in inches to the feathers I have listed to help you find the size that's perfect for your needs.
