Very small dove grey feathers with white dots and spots for crafts. These assorted little plumes come from my flock of Lavender Guinea fowl. I have them listed at a size of about one and a half inches long. Please note that this is a general estimate. Some plumage will be longer, but none should be much larger than 1.75" inches. None should be less than 1.5" long.
- Qty: Approx. 50 assorted Lavender Guinea feathers
- Size: 1.5" inches / 3.81 centimeters

The plumes have a nice amount of light colored fluff at their base. This pastel shade of blue-gray can be dyed if desired. Lighter dyes will show better in the white spots. Darker dyes are more likely to show on the entire feather. Personally, I think they are lovely Au natural, but I do know it can be a lot of fun to mess with plant based dyes.
I clean my birds feathers using filtered well water, Eco soap, vinegar and heat sterilization.
Feathers are hand packaged and labeled with my farms information, the type of bird, the quantity and the size.
I am not a feather reseller. I exclusively sell feathers only from my own humanely raised birds on my small Eco-farm.
Feathers are from my smoking free home, although I do heat my home exclusively with a wood stove as I am almost entirely off of the grid and this is my only source of heat.

Size Examples:
I have provided photos of feathers with a United States Standard ruler which is twelve inches long (12"). A standard United States copper penny (1¢) is pictured with the ruler to further assist with scale.
If you are unsure of the size of feathers that you need, I strongly recommend getting a ruler, tape measure, dress makers tape, etc. and looking at the size/s you need in inches (rather than using the eyeball it in the hand method). First measure where you want to use the feathers and what your expectations are. When you see the approximate length, write it down and compare that length in inches to the feathers I have listed to help you find the size that's perfect for your needs.
