These feathers are a peachy buff color. The are stiff with strong neutral quills. There is a small amount of lighter colored fluff at the base of the feathers. They are slightly curved with a little lift. Larger chicken feathers of this type are used in a wide variety of crafts and even cat toys. Uses include but are not limited to, archery (arrow fletching), organic baby mobiles, dream catchers, ceremonial headdresses, smudge wands, and home decor.

Pictured are two of my Buff Laced Polish hens free ranging on a wonderfully sunny and snow free day in the middle of winter.
Polish chickens are on the Livestock Breeds Conservation Priority List (see resources) with fewer than 2,500 annual registrations in the United States and estimated global population less than 10,000. When you purchase my birds feathers, you directly help me in my efforts to keep these birds.
I clean my birds feathers using filtered well water, Eco soap, vinegar and heat sterilization.
Feathers are hand packaged and labeled with my farms information, the type of bird, the quantity and the size.
I am not a feather reseller. I exclusively sell feathers only from my own humanely raised birds on my small Eco-farm.
Feathers are from my smoking free home, although I do heat my home exclusively with a wood stove as I am almost entirely off of the grid and this is my only source of heat.
Size: XXL
Size Examples:
I have provided photos of these feathers with a United States Standard ruler which is twelve inches long (12"). A standard United States silver quarter (25¢) is pictured with the ruler to further assist with scale.
If you are unsure of the size of feathers that you need, I strongly recommend getting a ruler, tape measure, dress makers tape, etc. and looking at the size/s you need in inches (rather than using the eyeball it in the hand method). First measure where you want to use the feathers and what your expectations are. When you see the approximate length, write it down and compare that length in inches to the feathers I have listed to help you find the size that's perfect for your needs.
