Stiff wing feathers from my Buff Laced Polish birds. They have a pretty peachy-buff coloring with a hint of creamy white along their edge. At the base of the quills, there is a small amount of lighter fluff. The quills are neutral, pointed and strong. These types of chicken feathers are often used in home decor, wedding bouquets, smudge wands, arrow fletching, centerpieces, ceremonial headdresses, dream catchers, calligraphy pens, feather mobiles, garland, costumes, and more.

Polish chickens are on the Livestock Breeds Conservation Priority List (resources) with fewer than 2,500 annual registrations in the United States and estimated global population less than 10,000. When you purchase my birds feathers, you directly help me in my efforts to keep these birds.
I clean my birds feathers using filtered well water, Eco soap, vinegar and heat sterilization.
Feathers are hand packaged and labeled with my farms information, the type of bird, the quantity and the size.
I am not a feather reseller. I exclusively sell feathers only from my own humanely raised birds on my small Eco-farm.
Feathers are from my smoking free home, although I do heat my home exclusively with a wood stove as I am almost entirely off of the grid and this is my only source of heat.
I have provided stock photos of feathers with a United States Standard ruler which is twelve inches long (12"). A standard United States silver quarter (25¢) is pictured with the ruler to further assist with scale. I have also provided stock photos of feathers in my hand for those who prefer not to use standard measurements. Packaging is for example only.
If you are unsure of the size of feathers that you need, I strongly recommend getting a ruler, tape measure, dress makers tape, etc. and looking at the size/s you need in inches (rather than using the eyeball it in the hand method). First measure where you want to use the feathers and what your expectations are. When you see the approximate length, write it down and compare that length in inches to the feathers I have listed to help you find the size that's perfect for your needs.
