Almost matching small right and left wing feather assortment for crafts. Feathers are in shades of soft blackish gray and tan-brown. While these feathers are not large, they are ridged. They are not flexible. They have a slight curve to their shape. Some of the smallest plumes are a bit straighter. They all have strong quills. I have done my best to provide the closest matches possible. However, there are not equal amounts of each side of the wings. Please look closely at the photos I have provided to see which plumes are single.
- Qty: Approx. 25 Salmon Faverolles hen feathers
- Size: Approx. 1.5-3.5" inches / 3.81-8.89 centimeters

Faverolles chickens are on the Livestock Breeds Conservation Priority List (see resources) with fewer than 2,500 annual registrations in the United States and estimated global population less than 10,000. When you purchase my birds feathers, you directly help me in my efforts to keep these birds.
I clean my birds feathers using filtered well water, Eco soap, vinegar and heat sterilization.
Feathers are hand packaged and labeled with my farms information, the type of bird, the quantity and the size.
I am not a feather reseller. I exclusively sell feathers only from my own humanely raised birds on my small Eco farm.
Feathers are from my smoking free home, although I do heat my home exclusively with a wood stove as I am almost entirely off of the grid and this is my only source of heat.
Size: S-M
Size Examples:
I have provided stock photos of feathers with a United States Standard ruler which is twelve inches long (12"). A standard United States silver quarter (25¢) is pictured with the ruler to further assist with scale. I have also provided photos of approximately twenty five feathers in my hand for those who prefer not to use standard measurements.
If you are unsure of the size of feathers that you need, I strongly recommend getting a ruler, tape measure, dress makers tape, etc. and looking at the size/s you need in inches (rather than using the eyeball it in the hand method). First measure where you want to use the feathers and what your expectations are. When you see the approximate length, write it down and compare that length in inches to the feathers I have listed to help you find the size that's perfect for your needs.
