These large transition wing feathers are from my Black Spanish turkeys. The feathers are from the stage between juvenile to adult. During this time, some of their feathers have more of a flat gray rather than the glossy black of adulthood. You can see this coloring in the photos I took of this assortment.
These are secondary plumes. I have done my best to provide the closest matching left and right pairs as possible.
The quills are a more blunt and hollow (not with a fine tapered tip). I believe they are still suitable for calligraphy feather pens if that is what you are looking for.

Real turkey feathers are also used for ceremonial purposes, arrow fletching, fly tying, dream catchers, feather mobiles, in bouquets, wreaths, costumes and so much more.
To see how these feathers have been used by some of my customers, check out my reviews section.
I clean my birds feathers using filtered well water, Eco soap, vinegar and heat sterilization.
Feathers are hand packaged and labeled with my farms information, the type of bird, the quantity and the size.
I am not a feather reseller. I exclusively sell feathers only from my own humanely raised birds on my small Eco-farm.
Feathers are from my smoking free home, although I do heat my home exclusively with a wood stove as I am almost entirely off of the grid and this is my only source of heat.
Size: M
Size Examples:
I have provided stock photos of feathers with a United States Standard ruler which is twelve inches long (12"). A standard United States silver quarter (25¢) is pictured with the ruler to further assist with scale. I have also provided photos of feathers in my hand for those who prefer not to use standard measurements.
If you are unsure of the size of feathers that you need, I strongly recommend getting a ruler, tape measure, dress makers tape, etc. and looking at the size/s you need in inches (rather than using the eyeball it in the hand method). First measure where you want to use the feathers and what your expectations are. When you see the approximate length, write it down and compare that length in inches to the feathers I have listed to help you find the size that's perfect for your needs.
