My husband wood burned this image of a Green Sea turtle on sycamore wood. After he burned the image he added color using watercolors. This piece has been sanded and is smooth on all sides except where the bark is which is slightly rough. The bark has been lightly sealed, making it smoother than it would be if it was unfinished. The wood was taken from a beautiful tree that had to be cut down on our farm because it was dying.

This piece has been lightly sealed with clear Krylon triple thick crystal clear glaze to help protect the image and the wood.
