Plant Lady Embroidery by Applemints
I prefer to work with plain cotton fabrics & have been itching to dress up my work without over doing it. Being a full time eco farmer, I had to have this book. I love the individual designs. What I hadn't expected were the occasional non plant designs, such as bugs (butterfly, honey bee), a cat, a bunny, human girls, plus gardening tools & extras like a house. More than 95% of the designs are plant rather than "other" so the book is accurately described. These little extras are an unexpected treat.
The full color designs are followed by a "Project Inspiration Gallery", basic supplies needed, very basic instructions to get you started, & then finally the Stitch Guide which starts on page 56 all the way to the end on page 119.
Overall, a beautiful book.
