Take Two Fat Quarters Home: 16 gorgeous sewing projects for using up your fat quarter stash by Wendy Gardiner
I have a monstrously huge fabric stash because I went to a yard sale & boxes & boxes of fabric were for sale. I asked how much for everything, paid $40 & filled the entire bed of my truck with stacks of boxes. True story.
Some of the projects in this book don't appeal to me (like the slippers), but others have been a lot fun (hanging hoop organizer & pincushion, coiled fabric bowl, duffel knitting bag, gardeners apron). I've sewn some projects for another purpose. For example the reversible placemat, I make those to use for my English Angora bunnies & as carrier liners. For the coasters, I made them but put some catnip in them for homemade cat toys.
The book has a full color layout with detailed instructions & a super awesome bonus, there is pocket in the back cover that holds the patterns! No smashing the book & trying to copy patterns.
I have been thoroughly enjoying the variety of projects & the new ideas some of them have given me.
